IT Department Administrator

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the IT Department Administrator manages the day to day administrative duties for the IT Department and for the CIO and also works on a broad range of short and long-term projects. The Administrator is responsible for managing procurement, vendor relationships and accounts payable. The Administrator organizes and manages departmental materials and responses to questions in the yearly IT Audit. The Administrator tracks software licenses, as well as support contracts, and manages renewals timely.

This position requires a high attention to detail, data analysis skills and project management skills. The successful candidate will also be a creative problem solver with the ability to handle sensitive and urgent issues in a confidential, tactful and organized manner. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in an IT or technology setting.

The Administrator works in collaboration with multiple departments across the company. Good judgement and a collaborative approach are essential. This is a tremendous opportunity to work with a creative and bustling IT department at a premier organization.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Day to day administrative duties for IT department.
  • Supervise Procurement for IT
  • Managing and tracking software support and contract renewals.
  • Software License Management
  • Managing yearly IT Audit.
  • Managing vendors.
  • Tracking compliance across various compliance frameworks.
  • Tracking progress on departmental projects.
  • Staff Scheduling and Scheduling support for CIO.
  • Answers CIO's phone as needed.
