Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops the events program where the candidate will be able to plan, sell, and coordinate various events at our restaurants; this includes large parties, private events, wine dinners, and buy outs.
Takes ownership for BEOs, contract development and events systems and client tracking.
Is responsible for attracting and developing events clients and repeat clients and will be onsite to oversee events larger from 10 to 400 persons.
Collaborates and communicates with the appropriate managers to plan and execute all events.
Develops and maintains minimums and cost structures for private events along with space restrictions related to the client’s budget.
Develops working relationships with outside vendors and establishes prices and service agreements to enhance the event experience and to increase additional revenue opportunities for the property
Follows up with private events clients to ensure satisfaction and develops relationships.
Works with local leadership and company executive(s) on building a $1mm event business and beyond.
Education and Experience:
Five (5) years of events and operational experience working in a fine dining restaurant. Michelin experience highly preferred.
