Overview
We are seeking a skilled Gardener to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of our beautiful garden and grounds at our event center on a beautiful Hill Country ranch north of Boerne, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a passion for growing beautiful flowers and shrubs. Will train. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently and set your own hours. Part time position available, with possibility of full time if willing to take on additional tasks on the property. Housing is also optionally available on-site and may be negotiated as part of compensation adjustment.
Duties
The successful Gardener will be responsible for:
- Maintaining the overall appearance and health of our garden and grounds through regular lawn care and landscaping maintenance.
- Planting, pruning, and caring for a variety of plants and flowers, including those in our greenhouse.
- Irrigating the garden and grounds as needed to ensure healthy growth.
- Utilizing power tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Assisting with farm-to-table initiatives and harvesting fresh produce from our garden.
- Monitoring the garden for signs of pests and diseases and implementing control measures as necessary.
- Working with our team to create and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces.
- Keeping the garden and grounds clean and tidy.
Qualifications
- Experience with groundskeeping and landscape maintenance.
- Knowledge of garden and greenhouse practices.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems.
- Proficiency with power tools.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $16.93 - $18.14 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
