Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Athletic Trainer to join Southwestern Christian University. The ideal candidate will be able to provide the best standard of care for our SCU athletics.
Duties:
- The assistant athletic trainer will care and prevent athletic injuries.
-The assistant athletic trainer will provide various taping methods for all injuries.
- The assistant athletic trainer will create and execute various rehabilitation protocols set by the physcian.
-The assistant athletic trainer will communicate and collaborate with the head athletic trainer and assist the head athletic trainer.
-Administrative duties such as coordinating coverage for games at SCU and travel.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's in Exercise Science, kinesiology, or an equivalent degree
-Bachelor's or Master's in Athletic Training
-NATABOC Certification and in good standing
-CPR/BLS Certification
-Athletic Training License in the state of Oklahoma or the ability to obtain state licensure
-Entry level position
-Travel may be required for this position
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience working in the university setting.
-Familiarity with injury prevention strategies and rehabilitation exercises
-Familiarity with the rules and guidelines of NAIA and NCCAA.

Pay: $46,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
