We are seeking a pharmacy technician, to work at our independently community pharmacy in Monroe WA.
The technician must be proficient in their work of processing prescriptions. Technician must be able to greet customers in a friendly way, answer the pharmacy phone, patient data entry, insurance data entry, filling the prescription, resolving insurance issues, packaging the prescriptions and interact with the pharmacist on duty. The technician will also be responsible for helping manage pharmacy inventory--receiving daily orders, electronically processing daily orders, counting prescriptions, waiting on customers, inputting refills and new prescriptions.
Will consider someone newly out of pharmacy technician school or still attending, as long as they have some retail/customer service experience.
We are looking for a dependable person with initiative, enthusiasm and a genuine desire to help others. Some one who can communicate well with a team.
This is a position with shifts vary between the hours of 9am-6pm (Monday-Friday) and some Saturdays 10am-2pm. We are closed on Sundays and major holidays.
Attention to detail, good computer literacy skills, Interpersonal Skills a must.
