Job Description
The Data Product Analyst – Digital Insights will be a part of a Data and Analytics team that provides technical thought leadership across multiple teams and plays a key role in supporting data-driven product initiatives. Directly reporting to the Director of Data Product Management, the Data Product Analyst – Digital Insights will contribute to development and delivery of useful and timely information to decision-makers and business leaders in an easy-to-understand, efficient and accessible manner. The Data Product Analyst – Digital Insights will provide decision support and actionable insights to the Digital team to help drive business value and growth opportunities. In this role, the Analyst will work on a mix of projects and will work closely with business and technical leads to design solutions, develop user story definition, provide clarification on feature deliverables, and coordinate testing. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on collaborator and expert who possesses the ability to shift between a technical and business context.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS-

Provides proactive monitoring of business KPIs and investigative analysis of meaningful trends and insights using data in different formats and platforms.

Interpret data and present findings and key recommendations in business-friendly format to share with internal stakeholders

Works directly with management and business users to develop the concept and gather requirements for data products designed to help with ongoing investigation and reporting used to support strategic decisions

Join in discovery workshops to gather and assess requirements from business owners to identify project objectives, requirements, and expected outcomes

Partner with team leads in gathering and creating process models, specifications, documents, wireframes, and charts and translating this information into actionable tasks

Performs source systems data analysis, in order to understand the data format and structure

Make the requirements and solutions understandable to both user and cross-functional teams

Collaborate with team members to collect, analyze, and prepare source to target data mapping

Conducts testing and analyzes results to ensure the solution meets the needs of the business community

Work within Agile project methodology and participates in Scrum ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos, grooming, and release planning

Create training documentation and train end users once new development work or enhancements are complete

Provides the highest level of customer service, technical support and thought leadership to the business community
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES-

Proactively identifies business reporting challenges and works with engineering, architecture, and business insights department to devise and deliver solutions

Reviews requests and bug tickets for impact and prioritization

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES-
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE-
-
3-5+ years of experience in reporting and data analytics with professional experience in Digital Marketing for direct-to-consumer business

Domain expertise in Email/SMS marketing, paid digital advertising and social media, e-commerce, customer loyalty/segmentation is a plus
-
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field. Equivalent experience is acceptable

Strong experience with digital marketing platforms, customer data platforms, and business analysis tools including Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Google Analytics
-
Solid background with business intelligence tools (such as Incorta, MicroStrategy or Tableau), reporting, data manipulation using tools like SQL, and leveraging database design
-
Solid understanding of key methods in statistics and advanced analytics, social media measurement, A/B testing and campaign evaluation methods

Expert-level skills in Microsoft Office Software (MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint)

Experience with insight generation and storytelling
