Original Gourmet Sales Representative - US
The Sales Representative will be responsible for leading, managing and profitably growing our business in the defined US region/channel as well as securing new business. Customer responsibilities will likely include a cross section of both strategic and transactional business. Leading in collaboration with marketing and effectively managing cross functional resources (marketing, product development, supply chain, and insights) is critical for success. The Sales Representative must be able to think and lead strategically, both internally and externally, linking strategies between organizations and influencing all parties/functions on joint initiatives to deliver business objectives.
Executes business plan to grow business in given territory channel. Creates strong database of current and new customers Collects information from the market concerning trends, competition and market needs and relays them to the corporate office. Manages relationship between customer and Original Gourmet corporate to ensure business runs smoothly. Is responsible for complete sales process. From managing key accounts, maintaining a long-term relationship with accounts and maximizing sales opportunities with them.
Must be able to effectively interact with wide range of levels within customers
Must be able to think and lead strategically, identifying opportunities, developing plan, influencing, and implementing
Must be able to effectively collaborate with marketing and lead cross functional partners
Must possess high level of executive selling and negotiations skills
Moderate level of administrative responsibility
Bachelor’s degree required
