Senior Network Security Administrator

  • Architects and maintains networking infrastructure, supporting WAN/LAN/WLAN for 15+ locations
  • Develops and maintains all network systems, applications, security and configurations
  • Troubleshoots network performance issues and creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan employing redundancy and/or failover
  • Authors or contributes to network security policies and procedures, network design topology diagrams, and CSC and SOX narratives and test plans
  • Ensures appropriate network security access and protection against unauthorized access, modification or destruction
  • Monitors performance of networks and their components and analyzes equipment performance to determine the need for repair or replacement
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in network engineering, computer engineering or similar discipline preferred; a BA or BS in a different discipline plus relevant work experience is acceptable in lieu of preferred degree
  • Requires a minimum of seven years’ experience in network administration, design and architecture and a minimum of four years’ experience in network security
  • Must have strong to expert knowledge in a variety of network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP, all 802.11 standards, all layers of OSI model, VPN, routing, switching, Checkpoint, Fortinet, IronPort, Websense, ARIN and SunGard, among others
  • Industry standard networking and/or security certifications preferred
