Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Earth Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with Electrical Safety and Behavior Based Safety.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and external contractors and vendors.
Experience communicating with Federal, State and Local Authorities regarding Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) issues.
Experience managing compliance and best practice implementation in a contractor workforce.
Experience with safety culture development.
Experience with spreadsheet software or equivalent project management tools.
Collaboration, project management, and communication skills (written and verbal).

You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.
The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are a diverse, upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.
Support Data Center Services, Hardware Operations and Data Center Operations by leading EHS program implementation and oversight from facility turnover through owner operations.
Spend 40% of the time performing EHS field work (e.g., compliance inspections, behavior based safety observations, waste management, etc.).
Develop project tracking timelines and tools to share important trigger tables with Data Center Services to support facility ready schedules.
Manage oversight of construction activities to protect Google’s interests during general contractor ownership of site activities.
Provide Environmental Health and Safety support for existing fleet as needed as well as support within the region and at a global level for all Environmental Health and Safety programs and initiatives.
