Post-Doctoral Fellow – Human Genetics

The Cardio-Metabolic Diseases Research department at Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking an innovative Post-Doctoral Fellow in human genetics who will contribute to understanding the molecular bases of non alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) progression.

As a Post-Doctoral Fellow on our team, you will have the opportunity to drive the identification of novel targets by studying the genetics and genomics aspects of NASH. You will be collaborating with leading academic institutions and industrial partners to analyze, integrate, and interpret patient data, and ultimately publish your findings in high-impact scientific journals.
PhD degree in genetics, computational/systems biology or related quantitative biology disciplines with less than 3 years of Post-Doctoral experience
Good written and oral communication skills
Proven experience in conducting and publishing creative and innovative research projects
Experience in integrating and interpreting results from different data sources (e.g. GEO, ArrayExpress, GWAS Catalogue, GTEx etc.)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
Must be 18 years of age or older
