We're looking for an experienced Digital Product Manager to build and manage a product roadmap to support our goals and strategies; this includes product functionality, features, and future enhancements leveraging APIs. As a product manager, you will work closely with various teams across First Tech to scale and enhance the digital experience for our membership. From napkin scratches to launched products, you thrive in ambiguity and uncertainty. The position requires the ability to apply strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve business problems, and quickly arrive at recommendations that drive priorities.

Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:

Job duties

Build and manage a product roadmap to support the credit union's goals and strategies
Create preliminary design concepts and work with engineering to implement and iterate them
Initiate and prioritize projects within engineering, assist in determining the best technical implementation methods, track product development and develop product launch plans
Develop the product strategy, go-to-market plans, positioning, messaging and all elements related to the business case
Evangelize member-centric design, leveraging user feedback from various channels, competitive analysis, and technology trends to facilitate building for the member, by the member
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for every stage of product development
Essential skills

Minimum 3 years’ previous experience overseeing the development, implementation, and performance of Mobile/Digital products required
Understanding of Digital Banking products including payments, money movement, and core consumer banking functions
Ability to create, own, and execute on the Digital Banking vision, strategy, and roadmap consistent with department and credit union directives
Experience with API and integration best practices across multiple products, balancing product requirements while maximizing technical reusability and minimizing complexity
Exceptional analytics and problem solving skills and ability to prioritize issues and analysis
Ability to work independently with credibility, usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to build rigorous, fact-bases that support recommendations to team members and management
Ability to communicate effectively and confidently, and work well in cross-functional teams
Experience leveraging key performance indicators (KPI’s) and data to provide insights and make strategic business recommendations
Strong understanding and working experience utilizing design-thinking best practices – empathy, requirements definition, ideation, prototyping, and testing to deliver digital products and experiences
Ability to think outside-the-box and proven track record of rolling out a combination of core + innovative products
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, EE, Mathematics, Stats or equivalent practical experience
