We are currently seeking Precertification Coordinators for our Automobile Precertification Department.
Overview: The Pre-Cert Coordinator receives requests for medical services from the treating healthcare provider’s office. The request is reviewed to ensure all necessary information is received; required data is entered into medlogix® software for the Pre-Certification Nurse to review. The Pre-Cert Coordinator will also respond to telephone inquiries regarding automobile claims.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes
- Knowledge of CPT codes
- Medical Terminology
- Microsoft Office / Windows Software
Skills:
- Must be reliable
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong typing skills; 10-key entry a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including rules of composition and grammar
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently handling multiple tasks
Education, Experience and Training:
- High School or equivalent
- Data Entry: 1 Year
- Customer Service Background
- Spanish speaking a plus!
