An experienced floral designer is responsible for artfully arranging botaticals to make sympathy sprays, everyday bouquets, weddings, corsages, and other arrangements.
- Minimum of 10 years design experience in a retail flower shop. (REQUIRED)
- Be proficient in floral design elements, techniques, and styles (ie. lacing, grouping, feathering, hand-tied, ikebana, easel pieces, etc...).
- Work with clients to fulfill their vision for all occasions, such as weddings, funerals, or celebrations and events.
- Wait on customers in floral shop, provide advice and suggestions for flower selection and budget.
- Answer telephones, take orders, and prepare arrangements for transportation when needed.
- Unpack and process a wide range of flowers and foliage for use and storage.
- Experience navigating Dove POS or similar floral POS system.
