Working directly with the marketing teams in Las Vegas, the Director of Event Marketing role will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the opening and ongoing local marketing strategies, planning, campaigns, and initiatives for nightlife/daylife venue.
The position will be responsible for developing, executing and analyzing venue-based marketing, event strategies and programs that meet the organization’s overall objectives and financial goals. Provide talent recommendations, marketing partnerships, promotional activities, advertising recommendations, and VIP Host, social media and public relations coordination. This position will also execute the events and programs on-site. In addition, the Director of Event Marketing will be very creative and will find ways to increase customer spend and find new sources of business in appropriate and relevant ways for each brand.
To manage and be onsite for all marketing initiatives including but not limited to (marketing and sponsorship activations, on property signage and communication, 3rd party promoters, press initiatives, customer support, and artist relations)-
Plan and develop local marketing strategy and campaigns for each brand

Build relationships with key influencers, media and stakeholders

Work closely with General Managers in each venue to deliver solutions that address business needs

Manage timelines, budgets, and project delivery

Develop yearly and event-based budgets. Plan and manage an events calendar

Oversee and direct all creative development for each brand including advertising, branding and content strategy. Oversee PR agency and approve all materials

Manage all local social media channels

Create paid media strategy, placements, and global support

Ensure all website content is correct and up-to-date
-
Identify all local marketing opportunities and developing on-brand partnerships

Create and manage a local library of assets for all venues

Set KPIs, evaluating and reporting on all activity

Ensure consistency of brand standards

Responsible for talent planning and management

Work in conjunction with sponsorship team to leverage and maximize sponsorship capabilities

Work in conjunction with media partners to leverage and maximize event activation opportunities and value ads

Liaise with promotions teams (internal, external), informs on promotional rules, and communicates information back to appropriate personnel

Liaise with VIP Services and Executive Management to maximize price yielding opportunities

Responsible for all event communications to the following areas: Executive Management, Public Relations, Advertising, Promotions, Social Media, Sponsorships, Clients, and Operations

Communicate with select artist management and artists, providing them with marketing collateral on a needed basis

Manage the marketing design process via Basecamp in conjunction with the design department

Oversee event day

Work to create new sources of customers through building professional networks and complementary partnerships

Aid in the overall development of new event brands and assists with building and executing pre/during/post launch marketing activities

Assist in conducting market research including customer surveys, competitor research and market positioning

Manage re-branding / re-positioning efforts when needed and enforces brand standards

Support Private Events and Guest Services by managing asset and collateral needs

Assist in developing branded guest experiences for venues and oversees the overall customer journey/experience

Oversee marketing team, their responsibilities and measurable deliverables from each team member

Responsible for hiring, counseling, coaching, performance management leading up to discipline and termination

May act as a liaison between venues and corporate in terms of employee engagement and other HR activities

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or similar discipline
-
Proof of eligibility to work in Mexico

Valid Driver’s License

21+ years of age

WORKING KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of five (5) years of nightlife / hospitality-based venue marketing management experience with proven track record of financial and creative marketing programming success. Considerable experience within the hospitality sector. Experience of working with consumer / or FMCG brands. Agency experience preferred. Exceptional knowledge of multi-channel marketing
