Title: Sales Coordinator/Outside Sales

Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
Contacts prospective customers to discuss their needs, and explain how their needs could be met by specific company products offered.
Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, answer questions, provide product information, etc.
Displays or demonstrates product, using actual product demonstration or sales literature, and emphasizes saleable features.
Quote prices, credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained; Maintains customer records.
Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of inventory and delivery schedules.
Prepares sales activity reports and keeps expense accounts.
Works with Office Manager to keep account activities up to date.
Attends trade shows to exhibit products.
Coordinates promotional activities including print, electronic media, trade show, direct mail, and etc.
Manages development, distribution of promotional and collateral materials to support sales and marketing program.
Coordinate the Company’s trade show participation in the area of trade show/booth site selection, product selection, set-up and teardown, booth maintenance and advertising/promotions.
Assists Vice President in forecasting current and future product sales trends and advising competitive pricing and market situations.
Monitors and evaluates activities of competitive products.
Other & Miscellaneous
Makes efforts to gain product knowledge and familiarize with the product markets.
Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Vice President.
Reports to work daily (M-F) based on company schedule and complies with all company policies and procedures.
Travels on a regular basis by both car and plane to meet prospective and current customers.
Follows up to complete any assigned work.
Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
Maintains good communication with supervisors, staff members and outside contacts.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.
Supports the warehouse department and the customer service department as needed.
Business trip required
Driving is required as an essential duty and performed on a routine basis.
Travel frequently by both car and plane.
