Software Engineer Internship, Controls/Autonomy

Internship
As a Control Systems Engineer Intern, you will be working with designing, implementing and testing a variety of control algorithms. This involves taking controllers from a basic proof of concept in simulation to full vehicle testing. The position may also entail troubleshooting, debugging and improving upon existing controllers.

Minimum Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Engineering or Computer Science
Proficient in C or C++
Comfortable working in a Linux environment
Working experience with Serial, SPI, I2C, SDIO or some other embedded serial bus
A passion and curiosity for creating and building things
Proficient in Python, Matlab, Simulink preferred
Experience with post-processing of large data sets preferred
Experience with sensors, actuators, programming microcontrollers and robotics preferred
Experience with system modelling, system identification, discrete filtering preferred
Experience with networking systems and wireless technologies preferred
