Summary The Operations and Personnel Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the day to day operations of the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) and maintenance of corporate relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Responsible for onsite operations of the Vikings retail operations by working with the General Manager to carry out operational plans.
Maintain communication between MainGate and the Vikings at a local level.
Responsible for coordinating third party events with MainGate Third Party Event Manager.
Assists with all third party events at U.S. Bank Stadium, including merchandise, selling, and inventory control and staffing.
Assist with third party events as needed at other venues, travel may be required.
Maintain Union Stand workers seniority list.
Maintain and ensure the integrity of all Human Resource records between the SBU and the corporate offices.
Coordinate and maintain credentials with the stadium for our entire staff.
Conduct orientation, train and coach the staff in execution of daily tasks and to maximize retail location sales.
Assist in executing company policies and developing long range goals and objectives.
Review operational reports and records to ensure adherence to Company policies and procedures, monitor operational costs, manage payroll budgets, and maintain shrink at or below the company goals.
Help solve problems that affect the SBU’s operations, efficiency, and productivity.
Other duties may be assigned.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year College.
Minimum two years of industry related experience.
Retail Operations and Personnel experience needed.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Will have a thorough knowledge of different retail procedures.
This position requires that the person be a highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently.
Must have strong leadership skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
Must be extremely organized.
Expert knowledge on all MainGate policies and procedures.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Some physical exertion required.
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally bend and move about the facility.
Position is located in a busy office area and is faced with constant interruptions.
Frequently works in a distribution center environment and at the team’s stadium. DC environment is not climate controlled. Exposed to dust, odors, and noise. Stadium locations could be outdoors with exposure to the climate and dust.
The employee is expected to adhere to all company policies and to act as a role model in the adherence to policies.
