Aruba OS Infrastructure Software Engineering Intern

Aruba is a leader in network access solutions for the mobile enterprise. Our flagship high performance Wireless Controller platforms are a key part of the solution. We are looking for a talented software engineer intern for the core ArubaOS Infrastructure Team.

Responsibilities

Design and implementation of software for Aruba's high performance wireless controller platforms
Develop networking protocols, inter process communication and web services
Development of infrastructure software components that allow efficient interchange of data between application software processes within a system or across a cluster
Design, coding, unit testing and integration of software in C/C++
Skills and Expertise

Currently pursuing (intern) BS or Master’s Degree in CS/EE (Desired)
Excellent programming skills in C, C++; and knowledge of data structures and algorithms
Knowledge of open source software packages and frameworks
Experience working with Linux OS, IPC and process scheduling
Exposure to TCP/IP networking protocols
Knowledge of GNU and Linux development environment and Perforce
Preferred skills

The following skills will be a plus:
Knowledge of Python and associated libraries
Knowledge of Websockets and other protocols used in Cloud networking
Knowledge of Google Protobuf
Experience developing software for virtualized networking infrastructure
