Job Summary:
We are seeking a certified X-Ray Technician for privately owned busy urgent care and family practice . The ideal X-Ray Technician will be responsible for operating X-ray and other imaging equipment to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions. X-Ray Technician must have positive and friendly attitude, able to multi-task, a team player and have an active VA State Radiology license. Benefits contigent to full time or part time.
X-Ray Technician Responsibilities:
- Bringing patients to an exam room to obtain vitals , reason for visit , etc.
- Perform X-rays and other imaging procedures following prescribed protocols
- Drawing blood as needed and other MA skills. (We are willing to train if you do not have these skills)
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results
- Assist in maintaining equipment and supplies in the radiology department
X-Ray Technician Skills:
- Proficiency in operating X-ray and imaging equipment
- Knowledge of nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedures
- Experience in urgent care settings is a plus
