In this position you will spend the first part of your day making outbound calls and taking inbound calls from members. On these calls, you will address any issues and benefit questions, as well as schedule appointments, if needed, meet with the members face - to - face. Your second part of the day with be following through with any scheduled face - to - face visits with members. You will make sure that they are taking advantage of services that they need, as well as getting the correct care. You must have strong verbal and written communication skills and strong problem - solving and analytical abilities. Knowledge of Healthcare and Insurance Benefits is a major plus.

Positions in this function are Warren, Ravenna, Lorain, or Medina, OH

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED
1+ years of experience working in a Medical or Healthcare environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Word (creating, saving, formatting documents), Excel (ability to create, copy, edit, send, navigate using tabs, and save spreadsheets), and Outlook (ability to open and send emails, categorize emails, and use of calendar)
Comfortable with local travel 75% of the time
Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to client and / or patient sites within a designated area
Must live in the Trumbull County, Portage County, Loraine County, and Medina County, OH area

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (or higher)
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
Knowledge of Medical Terminology / Coding (ICD-10 and CPT)
Managed Care experience with knowledge of community-based programs
Social Work or Case Management experience
