Your Role
Gensler San Diego is seeking a Human Resources Manager to partner with local leadership teams and handle heavy administration and tactical solutions. This position will also assist in the alignment of key human resources strategies to accomplishing important business objectives. In this role you will serve as a key member of the human resources team with a primary focus on data input, HRIS administration, employee engagement, training and culture. We are seeking passionate, self-motivated, creative, meticulously detailed, results oriented and customer-centric individuals.
What You Will Do
Be the point of contact for staff regarding payroll, benefit administration, Rideshare and various HR related programs
Prepare documentation when dealing with employee work deficiencies
Be responsible for all HRIS data input for existing staff, as well as incoming new hires
Coordinate and facilitate all on-boarding and new hire orientations
Employee relations and regulatory compliance
Understand all Gensler policies and ensure federal and state compliance
Adhere to all EEO/AAP tracking requirements
Handle all employee relation's issues with utmost discretion and confidentiality
Maintain clear concise documentation
Ability to deliver clear advice and direction to management on HR related issues
Hands on HR Generalist who works closely with fellow employees to complete projects, address issues and create a cohesive team environment within the office
Your Qualifications
1+ years of management experience
3 - 5 years of generalist HR experience
Must have a background managing development programs.
Experience working at a professional service firm a plus
Bachelor's degree and PHR / SPHR certification preferred
Strong management capabilities
Excellent organizational skills / attention to detail
Ability to work within a team setting and go the extra mile to get the job done
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities
Ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships
Strong interpersonal communications skills and flexibility
Curiosity to expand knowledge of employment laws and HR practice
Ability to create strategies and delivery methods for solutions under time constraints
**The base salary will be estimated between $75,000 to $90,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience
