Security Requirement: All candidates must possess an current, active U.S. Government issued Top Secret clearance and must meet all eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Provide onsite support for all security factions in accordance with NISPOM. The FSO will serve as the liaison with US government counterparts, conduct security briefings and debriefings, manage JPAS, perform security audits, and perform periodic self-inspections. This position will be responsible for administering, executing, and ensuring adherence to DOD and company regulations, policies and procedures regarding the protection of DOD classified, SCI, and non-classified information. Additional FSO responsibilities include supporting various HR and Office Administration functions as assigned. This position reports to Chief Financial Officer.
Assistant FSO Duties • Processes clearances, special access requests and other personnel clearance actions • Ensures appropriate storage, safeguarding, and disclosure requirements are followed for the protection of classified information. • Tracks security clearance investigations and performs administrative support functions to include Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) administration • Secure necessary badges for government facilities. • Administers and coordinates the security program and other related security activities to ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies and procedures • Maintain and update the SOP • Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding security regulations and procedures • Conduct security briefings • Investigates security violations and recommends corrective action • Maintains EE security files and conducts periodic audits • Prepares and distributes EE communication related to security

Thorough knowledge of the practices, procedures, and policies of facilities security; thorough knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing facilities security; Proficiency in the use of word-processing, spreadsheets, and other related software applications; Effective communication skills and a thorough knowledge of the NISPOM as well as excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in a government contracting environment Knowledge of computer software including MS Office applications
