Job Title: Program Coordinator
About Organization: Wellness Together, a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, partners with schools statewide to increase access to mental health services for students and families. By collaborating with universities and graduate programs, Wellness Together provides cost-effective "turn-key" social-emotional interventions on school campuses across California.
We are committed to developing school-based mental health practices that go beyond traditional medical care and provide much needed social-emotional support at no cost to the student or their family. We advance school-based health by:
Advocating for state and national policies that support school-based mental health services
Providing training to staff as well as the community on mental health
Hosting the annual Student Mental Wellness Conference, which partners with the CA Department of Education
Cultivating new and existing partnerships to spread best practices and improve school-based mental health
Summary of Position:
The Program Coordinator position exists to support Wellness Togethers School-Based Mental Health and HearYou.org Program, reporting directly to the Program Manager. The Program Coordinator will assess program needs and deliver results based on protocols and collaboration within the Program Team. The Program Coordinator strives to solve problems and ensure that the Wellness Together model is working to provide students and staff at our partner schools with high-quality, dependable, data-driven mental health and social work services.
Scheduling Expectations: The Program Coordinator can be allotted up to 16 hours (equivalent to 2 days/week) of Direct Client Contact opportunities at the discretion of a Program Director or a Program Manager, depending upon site, district, and organizational needs. 40 hours per week total.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the oversight of MHSs/HY Counselors progress notes, timesheets, calendar, schedule, assessments, caseload, informed consents, and communication with school staff and guardians
Facilitate in-person or Zoom communication with assigned MHSs/ HY Counselors either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, contingent on the experience of the MHS/HY Counselor
Review time-off requests, schedule make-up shifts, and replace/fill MHS/ HY Counselors shifts as needed
Assist with the collection and analysis of data pertaining to the School-Based Therapy Program
Provide coverage at school sites as needed
Provide psychotherapy to HearYou.org clients as needed
Create new protocols as needed
Provide escalated support for MHSs/HY Counselors
Assist in matching clients with a Counselor based on Counselor availability, skill set, and client needs
Assist with hiring and training of Program Team Members and MHSs/ HY Counselors, including onboarding and EHR setup
Support with Care Coordination as needed
HearYou.org Partner Billing & Data creation
Participate in Interviews and support Managers in Hiring decisions and staffing.

Knowledge of:
Ability to:
Read, interpret, apply, and explain regulations, policies, and procedures
Education and Experience:
Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or other related field
Possesses registration in good standing under California BBS as an AMFT, ACSW, APCC, LMFT LCSW, LPCC
Work Environment: Office environment indoors. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform functions. The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate. Some travel locally and out of the immediate area required.
Physical Demands:
Possess dexterity of hands and fingers to operate assigned equipment
Hear, speak and listen to provide information by phone or in-person
Stand or sit for prolonged periods of time, while working on a computer monitor
Ability to lift 15lbs.
Salary/Pay:
Hours: 40 hours, Monday - Friday
