Track record of successful global hospitality services.

The Global Events Team is responsible for supporting, consulting, and delivering experiential events to Googlers and their customers so they may thrive through learning, collaboration, and social interaction. We work with a variety of vendors to provide great service, impeccable audio and visual (AV) production and end-to-end event consultancy and support.
As the Global Account Manager, you will be the key event support mechanism for the business units at Google. You will successfully build relationships with each business unit to ensure you have a complete understanding of their organizational and event goals, which will guide you in securing the most appropriate event space for both the business unit and event operations. You will use your ability to translate event goals and high level event requirements to the appropriate Event Program Manager and ensure a seamless handover into the critical event planning cycle. Building a better relationship with the business means staying connected at key points during the event as the Event Team delivers an extraordinary experience.

Create and manage a strategic account plan for each business unit in order to open and build effective relationships, understanding the customer's needs and recommending the appropriate features and services that best meet their needs and exceed their expectations. Grow relationships with customers.
Understand existing and future demand for events/event space from each customer to properly inform and prepare the Global Events team for successful delivery of events.
Understand event space booking parameters, globally and locally, and work collaboratively with each Global and Local event operations (e.g., event team, facilities, security, AV, event catering, transportation, etc.) to understand operational needs and requirements, which can have an impact on both the operation and client.
Execute and support the operational aspects of events booked. Transfer accurate, complete, and timely information to the event operations team in accordance with global and local standards.
Effectively resolve challenges that may arise throughout the event process.
