What you’ll be doing...
As our Lead Project Manager (PM), you will be responsible for providing project and resource management in support of installing and activating core and strategic products via standard and non-standard processes. You will be responsible for coordinating implementation activities between the customer, branch/account team personnel (pre/post-technical support), internal groups (e.g., order entry, provisioning, CPE, Operations) and third party client/vendor resources (e.g., voice and data equipment vendors, local access providers, etc.) as needed. You will consistently leverage your expertise in resource/project management, offer suggestions to improve service delivery performance and generally utilize product knowledge to ensure customer needs are being met. Additionally, the position may at times require the PM to be accessible to the customer on a 24 by 7 basis, and provide the customer with back up contact information when applicable. You will support Verizon Credo through adherence to company policies, processes and practices.
Provides PM support for Medium to Large complex projects.
Acts as primary customer interface by facilitating team meetings to include tracking and managing action items to meet client deliverables as well as distributing regular status reports to stakeholders.
Build strong communication channels with client and internal departments such as Sales, Solutions & Service with the ability to provide custom reporting, monthly dashboards, schedule integration and metrics/SPI management.
Develops project plans that include resource, time and budget estimates for all project phases and milestones for internal and external parties.
Provides support to solve a wide range of complex issues/problems.
Responsible for satisfying customer expectations on ROI, product quality, functionality and timely delivery.
Coordinates transition of programs from development to implementation.
Implements recommendations that aid in the successful completion of projects within a product or functional area.
Has some latitude on achieving objectives related to specific program task, project or initiative.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience building and maintaining client relationships.
Project/ Program Management experience
Active Top Secret security clearance, and eligibility to mantain.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Even better if you have:
Experience in vendor management for highly complex projects
Experience in client relationships and organizational communication
Demonstrated abilities/experience in setting strategy/future vision at a Program level
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, work independently, and drive issues to resolution
