ServiceNow is seeking Principal Solution Architects with a focus on delivering strategic visions to executive personas at clients on the value of our solutions. The candidate must be able to articulate the business value message in front of both technical and non-technical customers. Candidate is also expected to have knowledge of various frameworks and methodologies such as ITIL, DevOps, PMBOK, IT4IT, BRMI, Cobit, TOGAF and others that are aligned to capabilities on the ServiceNow platform.
The Principal Solution Architect will provide technical and business expertise to support customers with product and solution leadership during pre-sales engagements. The Enterprise Solution Architect will participate in the acquisition and retention of customers by utilizing world-class business & technical pre-sales solution consulting techniques to communicate the power, flexibility, and ease-of-use of the ServiceNow SaaS platform. This is a combination of an enterprise architect who is well versed in presenting solutions as well as a value consultant who can go wide and deep on solution delivery and solution positioning during sales cycles.

Build executive relationships with customers to foster an ongoing dialogue and alignment to the value that ServiceNow Platform delivers.
Define, at an architectural level of detail, technical solutions aligned with our client’s business problems
Communicate complex technical solutions to clients
Strong alignment with product management and engineering teams on roadmap and field feedback
Maintain expert knowledge on platforms, technical services and utilities
Assist the sales personnel in the qualification of Enterprise customer needs and perform strategy and roadmap engagements to determine a high value outcomes for clients
Provide mentoring and training to peers and other colleagues in the organization.
Demonstrations of complex and integrated solutions to prospects and existing customers
Staying current on product developments/releases to a level required for solutioning and value realization for clients.
Staying current on competitive analyses and understanding differentiators between the company and its competitors.
Perform research into technology partner or other vendor solutions in context of client requirements.
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
Experience with enterprise architecture domains
Executive level presence and experience presenting to executive levels audiences
Experience with infrastructure, business process, application and data, design architects to tie into broader solution for customers.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills to include technical and business concepts.
Ability to both configure and demonstrate solutions in the ServiceNow platform is a plus
Experience designing and implementing client facing solutions leveraging involving enterprise software
Experience with integration design of enterprise software applications
Is self-motivated / self-directed – capable of multi-tasking and accepting change both in tasks and schedule
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities
Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
