Where you will live:

Come and enjoy the conveniences and beauty of the east Florida area. The seeds of Florida’s next wave of growth are evident. To date, the recovery has been driven by global trade, tourism, technology, professional services, and health services – all industries likely to grow in the coming years. This is good news. For Florida to continue to be competitive, our economy must rely on more than our natural resources and a continuous stream of new residents and visitors. As Florida’s economic vision is realized, Florida will transition from being a state-driven primarily by growth to a state driven by talent, innovation, quality of life, and global connectivity.

Florida’s landscape is unlike anywhere else in the country, with miles of shoreline and the famous Everglades. There are also ample opportunities for outdoor recreation, sightseeing, and, of course, swimming, all within a day’s drive. The real estate market for a new home in Florida has been going through a serious boom over the past several years, with no signs of slowing down. With many new homes for sale readily available in master planned communities, raising a family has never been more affordable, accessible, or beautiful.

Florida is one of just seven states in the U.S. that doesn’t collect state income taxes — the others are Alaska, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming. That leaves more money in your pocket for spending on the things that really matter. Floridians have a reputation for being laid-back, friendly, and very welcoming. With all of the perks mentioned above, can you blame them? But besides the easy-going atmosphere, there’s plenty of cultural innovation happening in Florida. From craft breweries to music festivals and from sports teams to world-famous amusement parks, there’s never a reason for a dull moment in this state.
