Work with the Ford Fund Global Communications Director to support the Fund's global activities and programs, with an emphasis on digital communications.
Serve as the primary owner of Ford Fund's digital communications across multiple social media platforms and websites, directly managing content development
Oversee and coordinate Ford Fund's video story-telling
Expand outreach of consolidated Ford Fund websites, overseeing writers, editors and web development
Work with external and internal Ford Communications teams globally to enhance Ford Fund's profile
Support media requests and share duties of serving as a Ford Fund media spokesperson
Design and execute long-range, strategic media plans for establishing Ford Fund as a thought-leader among corporate foundations
Develop strategic tools for measurement of key message distribution
Support as needed with Ford Volunteer Corps and other Ford Fund activities
Bachelor’s degree is required
3+ years of communications or non-profit program experience
1+ experience developing and implementing social media plans and activations
Experience implementing nonprofit programs with partners on a state and national level
Demonstrated interest and participation in community work and volunteering
Familiarity with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite and open-source content management systems a plus
