We are looking for a Global Total Rewards Champion to join our Total Rewards team. The position could be based either in Newark, Delaware or in Munich, Germany.
If you are looking for a company where you can make a difference, we’re looking for you. In this role, you will proactively drive optimization of Gore’s equity-based, defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans globally, with a focus on our non-U.S. locations.
Understanding and evaluating plans in conjunction with overarching Enterprise philosophy of broad equity participation, internally fair and externally competitive
Staying current on and providing guidance regarding regulations, law changes, and market trends
Recommending and driving plan changes in partnership with plan fiduciaries and administrators
Identifying the needs for and driving the implementation of new retirement plans
Understanding and supporting the specific provisions of the plans, the actuarial valuations, the financial reporting and the partnership with related functions
Providing guidance and support to plan fiduciaries and administrators
Understanding and articulating the value of retirement plans in conjunction with our Total Rewards philosophy
Educating and counseling associates and business partners on our philosophy, programs and practices
Reviewing and driving retirement plan communications strategy in conjunction with Enterprise Communications
Identifying partners such as vendors, carriers, outsourcers and consultants to assist and support plan optimization, fiduciaries and administrators
Required Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in designing and administering HR programs in a multinational firm or global environment
Strong interpersonal skills in order to influence change
Strong communication skills for delivering benefits information to a wide range of constituents
Creativity and innovation in providing solutions in different business scenarios
Demonstrated success managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization
Advanced knowledge of systems and technology, and demonstrated ability in leveraging technology to maximize organizational capability
Excellent analytical thinking, diagnostic and problem solving skills
Ability to travel approximately 10% of time
