Dieffenbauch & Hritz, LLC (D&H)is currently seeking a Survey Crew Chief / Party Chief to join our team in Morgantown, WV. We are looking for a motivated individual who wants to be an integral part of a group of professionals that provide superior engineering, environmental, surveying, and construction services to the energy, transportation and land development industries.

Job Description

As a Survey Crew Chief / Party Chief you will lead daily field activities performing various survey operations such as construction staking, geodetic surveys, boundary surveys and topographic survey. The qualified candidate will act as a liaison in the field for the Company and maintain positive relationships with clients, project superintendents and property owners.


  • High School diploma or equivalent, a degree in surveying or related field is preferred.
  • 3 years’ experience as a Survey Crew Chief / Party Chief.
  • Proficient with the use of conventional and GPS survey equipment and software including Trimble, Leica and Nikon.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report (MVR).
  • Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol Screening required.
