Cherry Bekaert is one of the country’s top public accounting firms and based on our growth, we’ve created a new position for an ERP Applications Architect in our rapidly expanding THIncIT practice, which provides innovative solutions to clients in the Technology, Health, and Industrial sectors. In this role, you will use your technical expertise and development skills to provide significant value to our clients through configuration, installation, enhancement/customization, and integration projects involving new and existing ERP systems.

Ideally located in Greenville, SC or Richmond, VA, you will work closely with the Practice Lead to support ERP related business development, estimation and scoping efforts. Also, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of large scale engagements, working with other internal developers and 3rd party vendors.

What your days look like:
Continuous evaluation of new software, applications, and application delivery options (On-premise, public cloud, private cloud, hybrid, mobile apps, etc.) to ensure that our market focus is on emerging areas of opportunity and growing demand in the market.
Matching client’s business requirements to ERP Application functionality, the availability and functionality of add-on modules, and what is required as system extensions/customizations.
Planning and executing the best approach to migrate clients’ legacy systems to best of breed ERP solution. Analyze and understand the requirements and impact of new software versions and upgrades to determine the best implementation and rollout strategy for the client.
Establishing and operating a test and development environment, as needed, within THIncIT’s domain in which new software and new versions of existing software are installed and exercised prior to being recommended to a client and the user community.
Defining and assigning system security groups, access and permission levels of the client’s users.
Support clients by creating complex reports and assisting them with the development of simple reports and queries.
Constructing and delivering technical documentation relative to the client ERP system and uniqueness.
Writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training curriculum on the usage of business processes for each client implementation and conducting user training.

What you need for this role:
Bachelor’s degree, preferred concentration in Systems/Software Development.
5+ years of in-depth experience configuring, installing, integrating, and operating enterprise-level business software applications.
Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, NAV, GP, or other comparable ERP systems (Acumatica, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, etc.).
Understanding of various software development environments (.Net, etc.) and integration platforms that are appropriate for enterprise deployment and for integrating disparate applications into a seamless, single-image system.
Demonstrated communication and presentation skills with clients.
