Salary Range: 100,000 – 125,000 USD Annually
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Total compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
About the Role: Reporting to the VP of Product & Project Management, the Product Manager is responsible for leading development and maintenance of new and existing data based intelligence products.
You will drive product development for multiple products and play a key role in designing the product architecture ensuring that design meets strategic and technical objectives. You will work closely with product strategy and business managers, marketing managers, UX designers, and software developers to deliver these goals.
You understand data and technology and can comfortably converse with engineers and liaise with business stakeholders. The role involves gathering requirements from multiple business stakeholders, prioritizing work, presenting priorities in sprint plans, scheduling work by working closely with project managers, and demonstrating work completed to a large audience. An important aspect of this role is bringing thought leadership to product development, going beyond planning and executing work.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and communicate cross functionally with stakeholders including product, sales, support, marketing, operations, and business leaders to ensure objectives are aligned
- Understand key priorities for the company and map product strategy to company objectives
- Lead effort in data integration and normalization of internal and external data sources, liaising between the Product Strategy and Data Solutions teams
- Evolve the product roadmap and coordinate with stakeholders to assess priority to drive strategy based on customer and business needs
- Coordinate and collaborate with agile teams in engineering, design, infrastructure and QA
- Research, gather and write requirements and facilitate the agile process at every stage including research, development, launch and iteration
- Ask the question, “Should we be doing this?”
- Manage, execute and evolve user-centric testing initiatives to ensure that development work enhances user experiences
Required Skills:Technical Skills/Knowledge:
- Ability to relate technical decisions and recommendations to business needs
- Solid understanding of data valuation, analysis and relationships
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Adobe Analytics, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- UX driven mindset
Interpersonal Skills:
- Confident, energetic self-starter, with strong interpersonal skills
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic business environment
- Highly creative and collaborative. The ability to collaborate with both the business and technology teams to define the business problem, refine the requirements, and design and develop deliverables accordingly
- Learn quickly, be willing to ask questions, and be flexible when new ideas and opportunities arise; be willing to pivot and change priorities when it makes sense for customers and/or the business
Qualifications:
- Five or more years of work experience as a product manager for SaaS products
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders to support multi-departmental data management and analytics initiatives
- Experienced in working with data, data relationships and business rules
- Experienced in working with technical and business teams
- A bachelor’s degree in information systems or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of legal industry, especially an understanding of the business of law
