KPMG is currently
seeking an Executive Director - Risk Management - Policy and Enterprise
Risk, to join our Risk Management organization.

Reporting directly to
the National Partner in Charge – Risk Management Policy and Enterprise Risk (NPIC-PER),

and in collaboration with teams across the firm:
Develop and oversee the
eventual day-to-day operation of a broadly applicable policy governance model
for Risk Management
Develop and implement
Risk Management policy, including in response to regulatory and KPMG
International requirements
Benchmark KPMG’s
current Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process against the COSO
Framework, assist in the development of risk appetite statements, and
facilitate ERM process improvements
Assist in the buildout
of the firm’s “Five Lines of Responsibility” operational risk management model,
including developing clear role and responsibility statements for the
third-fifth lines and for assisting in the transformation of various firm
business processes to a Five Lines of Responsibility Model
Assist the NPIC-PER in
projects as needed to optimize risk management processes, including determining
the feasibility of and building a road map for the development of a risk
quantification model

Minimum of fifteen years
of enterprise risk management, or related work experience; professional
services firm experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree from
an accredited college or university; MBA or JD, from an accredited college
or university is preferred
Must have an
authoritative command of policy development and implementation, Enterprise Risk
Management (including the COSO framework), and the five/three lines of
responsibility risk management model
Able to balance multiple
projects and serve in multiple roles; impeccable judgment, the highest
standards of integrity, and be capable of exercising discretion and making
decisions of high complexity and impact
Strong writing skills
and high proficiency for clearly and succinctly explaining complex subjects,
building consensus and ability to understand and proactively address the
perspectives of others; be an effective leader of teams that include senior
leaders, and able to set, direct and achieve priorities through inspiring
others; ability to think strategically, with a focus on tactical implementation
and feasibility and a process mindset
