This position assists the Company’s midstream affiliate, Noble Midstream Partners, LP.
Provide legal advice and services to Company’s midstream affiliate
Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide variety of agreements for all types of products, including gas, crude oil, produced water and fresh water, such as gathering agreements, processing agreements, transportation agreements, construction agreements and procurement of goods/services agreements
General knowledge of FERC regulations
Develop legal strategies for various midstream projects and advise operations staff regarding compliance with contracts, laws and internal authorizations
Represents the Company in industry or community affairs
Provides input for budget planning
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Legal Department management
Provide training on various regulatory compliance matters
J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school
Typically requires 4 or more years of legal experience, preferably midstream experience relevant to Company’s business operations
Licensed to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction and be in good standing
Experience in oil and gas exploration and production preferred
Prior law firm experience is preferred
Strong communication skills
Ability to handle substantial work volume in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical skills
RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LEGAL RISK ASSESSMENT APPLICABLE TO ANY PARTICULAR LAWSUIT OR CLAIM.
NORMAL OFFICE ENVIRONMENT WITH SOME BUSINESS TRAVEL.
