Description: We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide support to the Program Director and staff of the facility and handle special projects.
Responsible for managing office supply inventory, petty cash, and filing
Update and maintain resources and mailing lists for program staff and clients
Maintain and track client contributions for rent
Maintain an electronic database and scheduling of intakes
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:
Solid understanding of office procedures, administrative methods and practices
Knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting, including petty cash
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
Attention to detail and good time management skills
Work well in a team environment with a diverse group of people; maintain a good customer orientation
Clear written and verbal communication skills, and ability to organize and write procedures in a logical/methodical manner.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite products; familiarity with databases a plus
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's Degree in human services or related field
Two (2) years administrative work experience
Experience with HIV/AIDS afflicted individuals, chronic mental illness, substance abuse individuals and their families a plus
Bilingual skills in English/Spanish a plus
