We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Paralegal to assist with organizing and tracking files, drafting agreements, letters or other e-mail correspondence, and conducting research on selected topics. This person will play a vital role both managing and executing the legal team’s critical activities, and will have a high energy and collaborative style.

Maintain the administration of grant request applications, notifications and funding
Assist with drafting agreements or other correspondence
Manage administrative aspects of corporate governance, including minutes, contract creation and management
Maintain and update relevant legal binders, meeting minutes, spreadsheets, filing
Research, compile, summarize, and analyze information to make decisions, find answers, and respond to various inquiries from internal and external customers
Assist with research, special projects, and business development initiatives as appropriate
Composes, proofreads and edits correspondence, presentations and other documents
Maintain schedules and calendars; Schedule legal meetings and appointments
Analyze and organize information to produce reports
Delivers exceptional service support to internal and external customers
Provide other assistance as requested by attorneys

College degree

1-3 years of paralegal or legal administrative corporate support expereince

Proficiency with the MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) applications.

Exceptional written and communication skills.

Experience working with both internal/external customers

Effectively manage the legal filing system

Demonstrated experience in working independently to identify, analyze, and solve problems with creative solutions

Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters confidentially, expeditiously, proactively and follows through on tasks until successful completion
