As a contracted adoption worker you can make an immediate and lasting impression in the lives of birth/expectant parents, families and infants by assisting them in locating their forever family. This is work you can be passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families every day.


Assess, train, educate and provide support to pregnant women who are making a plan of adoption for their unborn baby.

Compliance with any and all laws and regulations governing child placing and adoption agencies including state, federal and international laws and regulations as well as the Agency Policy.

Providing services so as to meet the needs of the client with the highest of professional standards of human services practice and Agency standards as specified, and per designated timelines under the direction and supervision of Agency staff.


Required-Must Have:

A Bachelors or Master's degree in Social Work (Master's preferred)

Two years' experience in adoption or Child Welfare specifically

Nevada Social Work License in good standing

Dependable Transportation

Willingness to flex schedule and duties based on the needs of the client

Nevada Driver’s License in good standing

Helpful Additional Qualification-but not required

An understanding and knowledge of Child Welfare policies regarding ASFA, ICWA and other pertinent State and Federal statutes.

An ability to work alone and under pressure, as well as part of a team.
