Position: SCCM Lead Engineer/Architect

Location: Plano, TX 75024 (on-site only)
Rate: Open/Market Rate, depends on experience level (W2 ONLY/Visa Transfers)

SCCM Engineering who has strong hands-on experience architecting, designing, and delivering SCCM deployments for large complex environments. They will act as the lead for their SCCM 2012 or 1802 design, build outs and project teams all the way through Networking and AD teams. The average consultants is on project 3-5 years and we currently have 30 consultants working for them nationwide. Please note, all work will be performed on-site and you MUST be available for a face to face interview.

Microsoft SCCM infrastructure and Windows-based systems engineer for the End User Services department to perform the following functions:
• Microsoft System Center Configuration Manger (SCCM) system administration will provide troubleshooting, networking, system security, system integration, group policy management, and daily monitoring tasks as required
• Performing routine upgrades and preventative SCCM maintenance for existing infrastructure, as well as responsibility for the performance/scalability/integration of additional SCCM servers as they are deployed to support the distributed environment;
• Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS,) Microsoft Key Management Services (KMS and Providing server management, customer support, and timely maintenance and problem resolution of service delivery requests
• Technical customer consultation for needs analysis, assessment, problem resolution and recommendations for computer hardware and software
• Assist with monthly Windows Update deployment process to Windows servers and workstations within the organization via SCCM using Security best practices.
• BIOS and UEFI conversion
• Macintosh management via SCCM
• Perform SCCM health checks and regular SCCM client health sustainment
• Implementing and managing System Center End Point protection (Windows Defender)
• Power Bi Reporting for SCCM
• Windows 10 Upgrade readiness evaluation
• Implement Credential Guard and Device Guard using SCCM
• SCCM OSD customizations using MDT and troubleshooting OSD issues
• Analyze SCCM log files, provide patch management support
• IE and Edge Group Policy management and creation

Other Duties:
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring and reporting on controls compliance
• Ensures that appropriate tools or mechanisms exist to deliver world-class services and processes exist and/or are developed as appropriate
• Communicate highly technical information to management teams
• Understanding of the business' goals and objectives, with demonstrated ability to apply technology in solving business problems
• Initiative and ability to enforce policies and procedures through influence
• Provide occasional after-hours problem management in a mission critical 24/7 support environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: (Resume must reflect this experience)
•• Candidate will have experience with SCCM OSD Customizations, Imaging, Win7 - Win10 Migration
• 5+ years SCCM system administration, engineering, architecture and design
• 5+ years (or more) of experience managing a large (35K nodes) SCCM environment
• 5+ years of experience in desktop OS engineering
• 5+ years infrastructure technologies, including aspects of designing, implementing and supporting systems at the engineering level
• 5+ years working knowledge of: Windows registry, DHCP, DNS, DFS, EMET, Active Directory, VLAN management, etc.
•• Must have experience leading deployments from Window 7 to Window 10 migrations
•• Must have experience leading SCCM 2012 or 1802 design, build outs and project teams all the way through Networking and AD teams.
•• Experience doing migrations from legacy SCCM 2012 to the new current branch·
•• MUST have completely built out an entire SCCM architecture and deploying it.
•• Experience troubleshooting issue remediation for client laptop and servers communication and providing resolution
•• Advanced experience with Operations System Deployment (OSD) around imaging, analysis and troubleshooting and automating those issue detections/resolutions
(Level III/IIII Support)
•• Able to create new SCCM documentation on best practices and industry standards to deliver to those operational support teams, creating custom reports in SCCM (SQL)
• Supporting Microsoft Server/SCCM; Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager
• SQL-based application administration; create custom SCCM reports and SQL queries in SSRS.
• Active Directory process automation ; Active Directory Group policy administration;
• Microsoft Windows and IIS server administration;
• Demonstrated experience supporting Microsoft Server/SCCM systems; Microsoft Key Management Services technology for Windows and Office;
• Microsoft Advanced Group Policy Management Tool;
• Security benchmarking, vulnerability scanning, and remediation technologies and procedures
• Working knowledge of common server based applications
• Windows 7 / Server 2008 R2 / Server 2012 R2, Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2010 / 2013 / 2016
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory and networking concepts such as TCP/IP and other networking protocols and services: DNS, WINS, DHCP, Routing, MAC

• Able to Interview in-person
• Must have a stable work history, working in a similar role
• Exceptional communication skills
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or other technical discipline

Preferred/ Nice-to-haves:
• Experience with new features with InTune (Microsoft new mobility devise management product)
• Experience with Apple or MAC devices with an SCCM or InTune
• Scripting: PowerShell scripting and would VB scripting, Y script
• Microsoft certification (i.e., MCIT, MCSA, MCSE, etc.)
• Experience in Powershell scripting highly desired
• Working knowledge of InTune, mobile device management, mobile application management desired
