We’re hiring s word-class educator and leader to turn our online training products into the most effective programs that have ever existed to help online businesses grow their revenue. We need you to pioneer and innovate to find a method of online training that allows 90% of students to reach the goal of the program.
We’ve been in online training for 6 years. Along the way, we’ve discovered what works and what doesn't work when teaching and training online.
When we first started we provided students with a self-paced online course that they could use at their own convenience. That course had a 0.8% success rate.
Now we use a hybrid approach where we compress the time frame to 4 weeks, have a trainer deliver the education live, and put constraints and consequences around the students’ work so it gets done every week. The success rate of this is 92%.

This role is important because without you we will not have the capacity (aka: team and skill set) to continue expanding these programs and reaching more students. We need you to step into the methodologies we’ve discovered and improve them. Improve our curriculum, build upon what we’ve started, invent new and better techniques and help us change the world 1 student at a time.
What will you learn in this role?
If you come from the traditional education world, our pace of innovation, action taking and iteration might be uncomfortable for you. You’ll learn how to move fast, iterate quickly and put zero value into sunk cost.
There is 0 red tape at Growth Tools. We don’t care about how other people have always done things, how you have always done things or what anyone's SOP is. What we care about is: 1) you love what you do every day and wake up excited to do it; and 2) our students’ success.
We ruthlessly measure both of those on a daily basis.
In this role you will learn:
1. How to create innovative education and training programs focused on student success
2. How to build a remote team of trainers and coaches that can implement our programs
3. How to grow a business from just an idea to a million-dollar-per-year organization and beyond
4. How to quickly test, validate and implement new curriculum, training programs and coaching.
You’ll walk away from your time at Growth Tools having led and grown the most effective system and team of trainers that have ever existed in the digital marketing space.
Who will you work with?
You will work directly with me (Bryan Harris, the CEO) and your team will consist of our 2 trainers, Matt and Andy.
You’ll also interact with all of our core team members on a regular basis. That includes Chris (developer), Bethany (customer champion), Jeff (marketing tech), Daniel and WIll (sales).
Where will you work?
We all work remote and are scattered around North America from Vancouver to Cleveland, and Nashville to Birmingham.
That means you have the flexibility to work from home or a coworking location or to take the family to Peru for the summer and work from your terrace overlooking Machu Picchu.
We don’t micromanage you. Rather, as the Director of Education, we expect you to be a leader in every way. You will be a daily “in-the-weeds” practitioner (aka: training and coaching) as well as strategizing, leading and building your team.
You will own 2 numbers as the Director of Training:
1. % of successful students
2. Student capacity of each program
