The Deloitte Platforms (DP) practice, part of Deloitte Consulting LLP, develops technical assets that augment the firm’s leading core services, creating hybrid offerings that address our clients’ most pressing business challenges. Our asset-based consulting strategy is designed to deliver tangible results in the near-term and a sustainable competitive advantage.

Working with clients, we explore new approaches to critical business issues. To do this, we have created a product development center that includes an innovative team of commercialization experts, user experience/user interface designers, software architects and engineers, infrastructure and operations staff, testers and developers, sales engineers, product managers, and more.

Position Summary

We are looking for talented individuals with an innovative mindset and new product strategy skillset to join our growing team in Deloitte Consulting Platforms.

We are looking for a self-starter to help us commercialize, price, and communicate value for our new products and solutions.

Work You’ll Do:
You will work with senior leaders to commercialize new software and SaaS products. This includes coming up with monetization and commercialization strategies for new products or new markets and developing key value proposition messaging. This is an exciting opportunity to develop key strategies for our new product offerings.

Responsibilities include:
Collaborate with leadership, product management and sales teams to set and define the appropriate pricing strategy for next generation offerings (SaaS, Software, PaaS, AI/RPA, etc.)
Lead cross functional teams to define product positioning and value messaging
Conduct voice of the customer research to understand market dynamics and competitive landscape and determine appropriate value proposition
Train sales channel on how to communicate value of offering
Conduct win/loss analysis and other strategic deal flow analyses

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years’ relevant experience, to include strategic positioning, strategic marketing, value-based pricing, product marketing, new product/innovation strategy
Open to travel as needed (up to 20%)

Preferred Skills:
Consulting, marketing or strategy experience preferred
Exceptional storyboarding / PowerPoint experience and Excel modeling skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proactive, detail oriented and flexible. Strong organizational skills, including project management experience
Experience conveying complex business issues in a clear, concise, and impactful style to senior executives
Ability to work independently and under general direction with a strong sense of motivation to succeed
Experience interfacing effectively with all levels of management in a work environment in which priorities are frequently shifting
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while consistently delivering high quality results
