Reporting to the SVP & Head of Investment Solutions, the Investment Presentation Team Manager serves as the team lead for the firm's presentation team. The successful candidate will function in a 'player/coach' capacity leading a team responsible for crafting content and presenting information about investment strategies and the firm as well as facilitating interactions with current and prospective clients. Additionally, this individual will serve as a player/coach, managing a high-volume team that works in close partnership with the Investment Communications team, helping to lead efforts to drive standards and efficiencies through both functions as well as developing and implementing common standards around how the firm presents information to an array of constituents.
This integral role within our Investment Solutions business collaborates with leaders across the communications, marketing, portfolio management and relationship management teams, supporting and servicing a diverse and evolving global client base.
As the Presentation Manager, you are creative while able to effectively operate within a process-driven environment that requires attention to detail, ownership of tasks, the initiative to seek and make improvements, and the conviction in your processes that build a quality finished product.
We seek an experienced team leader who is creative, possesses an entrepreneurial mindset, strong organizational skills, and the tenacity to follow through on multiple projects with minimal oversight. As a leader, you thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, accuracy, and responsiveness are critical to success. You understand the perspective of the client and can translate content and complex data into presentations that are impactful and insightful.
You are responsible for the creation of investment presentations including content and design. You will manage data, content updates, slide creation, and compliance to firm standards to ensure quality, timeliness in delivery, and efficiencies in production.
You provide leadership of the team, managing and maintaining oversight of the day-to-day responsibilities, managing the workflow, and the development of individual team members.
You will build professional, high-quality content; drawing from an in-depth knowledge of PowerPoint, marketing and communication concepts.
Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal business partners across various businesses including Investment Management, Sales & Distribution, Legal & Compliance, Investment Reporting, and Marketing, operating effectively across all levels of the organization.
You will be a key point of escalation for the team, handling complex issues and managing risks around key deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5-10 years of experience within the asset management or broader financial services industry
Operational experience in marketing communications, production, graphic design or production
Strong project management skills with an eye for attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organization and time management skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal skills
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and content management systems
Bachelor’s degree preferably in economics, finance, marketing/communications, or business
