Director of Information Technology
The Director of Information Technology will provide leadership, direction and management of Corkcicle’s informational technology operations, including but not limited to the information systems design/infrastructure, web applications, cloud services and computer user resources throughout the company. They will lead the IT department’s strategic planning as well as the daily operations of the IT team. Local candidates only; no relocation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the primary owner of Corkcicle’s Information Technology roadmap and strategy.
Manage Corkcicle’s systems architecture and design.
Strategically align technology with the company’s business objectives.
Responsible for new system selection and implementation.
Manage the network infrastructure (switches, wireless, firewalls, remote sites, VPN, wiring).
Manage the server infrastructure (Windows servers, VMWARE).
Dropbox account management (file and folder structure, permissions, sharing etc.)
Network storage device maintenance and monitoring.
Apple business account management (purchasing of new equipment and services).
FTP site(s) maintenance and management (adding folders, users, account management etc.).
Account management for all software and cloud-based applications (i.e. Adobe, Google GSUITE, Office 365, Zoom, 3CX phone system, Slack, etc.).
Account management for all data services (currently Spectrum cable, FPL fiber and Philly cable).
Troubleshoot, configure, and repair for server, network, infrastructure, email, file shares, and other infrastructure issues.
Provide internal, on-going system/technical support to users, including training and maintain proper system access for all roles.
Develop, test and deploy customizations, custom objects, new functionality and Suite Apps based on evolving business needs.
Develop, document and implement policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure data integrity, changes protocols, customization, usage etc.
Identify, evaluate and recommend other key technologies required to support and improve the business process centered on the NetSuite platform.
Champion the development of IT talent, ensuring that effective teams are in place and capabilities are aligned with our needs, growth and future plans. Provide leadership to the IT team and build a team that is exceptionally customer-oriented, delivers business value and is well respected.
Serve as a partner to all members of the leadership team, capable of contributing to the business strategy and operations of Corkcicle.
Develop and execute on plans for managing information technology and security for the company, including activities to be performed in-house or through third-party relationships to best manage the company’s information systems.
Reports to the Chief Operating Officer. May have up to 2 direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS – KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (MIS, IT business/computer science and/or Accounting).
7 to 10 years experience as IT Director or similar role. Consumer Goods industry experience is preferred.
Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications.
Experience in HTML required.
Programming experience is preferred.
Detailed understanding of common industry standard business practices as related to Accounting (AR, AP, GL, Invoicing); Inventory Management (Purchasing and Fulfillment); Revenue Management and Support (Case Management).
Ability to communicate ideas and expectations effectively by e-mail, phone, and in person.
Fluent in Microsoft Office applications.
Project management, system implementation and system integration experience.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Strong data analytics, reporting and database experience (SQL and NetSuite and other reporting tools, ODBC).
Ability to balance technical skills with business acumen, ability to transform end-user needs /functional requirement into technical requirements.
Superior self-motivation, integrity, interpersonal skills and a natural troubleshooter.
Demonstrated experience leading the introduction of new technologies and standards into an evolving environment (e.g. web/cloud-based applications, Video Collaboration, SaaS, user vs. IT maintained applications, mobility applications, security, etc.).
Proven success serving as a strong change agent and leader, with a track record of designing phenomenal employee experiences.
Strategic integration experience - highly preferred
Ability to work within the core hours of 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional needs to accommodate a flexible schedule outside of core hours / weekdays.
WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / FLSA STATUS
Indoor, open office environment. The office noise level is moderately loud.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time while simultaneously working on the computer and telephone. Must be able to lift up to 15lbs. occasionally.
Travel up to 10%. May be required to travel by plane or car to other offices as needed.
