Renowned Midtown Events Facility seeking a full time Chief Engineer
Manage the operations of the Engineering Department, including all related personnel. Supervise and assign personnel; identify and communicate departmental/individual job goals, schedules and work projects.
Manage, maintain and repair the HVAC mechanical equipment, air-conditioning/refrigeration, heating, ventilation including cooling tower, plumbing, water treatment, and electrical systems.
Communicate with staff, contractors and consultants in planning work around the Facility’s scheduled events.
Identify and execute a proactive and preventive maintenance program.
Maintain standards for all areas, including legionnaire’s protocols and report deficiencies or propose upgrades to the Operations Management.
Conducts walk-throughs to visually and physically assess the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and any other related equipment.
Assign and verify completion of all repairs, parts replacement, renovation projects and routine maintenance.
Hands-on ability to make general repairs/component replacement, etc.
Access and maintain all related information in a central computer data system to generate reports. Create and maintain inspection programs for the Facility.
Responsible for Fire safety and fire brigade protocols, including fire and life safety emergency response

· Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, with an emphasis on HVAC installations.
· Associates Degree Preferred
· F91 CoF (Certificate of Fitness) ~ Fire Guard for High-rise/Office Buildings
· P99 CoF ~ low PSI Oil Burner
· Q01 CoF ~ Refrigeration Engineer

Salary: $65,000.00 to $85,000.00 /year
