Acts as a consultant and partner to the Chief Information Officer and IT Leadership team. Drives the people strategy and organizational design, and the process of transformation, talent management, and workforce planning. Leads change initiatives and implements specific HR strategies to achieve organization goals and objectives. Aligns performance management and reward systems to drive and reinforce desired behaviors. Ensures HR programs and plans are aligned to the business priorities and monitors effectiveness through the tracking of key measures. Balances corporate, function, geographic and business needs in deploying HR programs to the business unit. Collaborates with HR program/policy/process owners to deliver effective HR programs.
This position reports to the VP HR, Global Functions and is located in Houston, TX.
Develops and leads planning, design, implementation, communication and delivery of the company's HR initiatives across the global IT organization.
Actively partners with and influences clients at the SVP and VP level on a regular basis.
Drives strategies and initiatives at the global business group level by exercising some governance oversight in one or more areas (e.g., key policy decisions, requisition approval, resolution of high-impact disputes)
Leads a team of Senior Individual Contributors, both direct and indirect reports, who collaborate to effectively deliver human resource programs.
Education and Experience Required:
First-level university degree; advanced university degree in business preferred.
Typically 12+ years of business partner experience with significant strategic experience, including senior management influence.
Experience as global HR business partner to technical teams, IT/CIO preferred
Experience leading HR elements of business transformation initiatives
Knowledge and Skills:
Superior ability to provide HR consultation to executives, senior managers and employees on HR issues regarding employee relations, staffing, compensation, HR policies and performance management.
