Trinity Cryogenics is searching for a Human Resources / Safety Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will provide Administrative support in several areas: Human Resources, Safety and Plant administration.

Trinity Cryogenics specializes in manufacturing, repairing, and rebuilding all makes of cryogenic vessels. We offer a full line of trailer, maintenance, and repair services including vacuum investigation and complete rehabilitation.In this role, you will provide Administrative support in several areas: Human Resources, Safety and Plant administration.

What you'll do:
Maintain and processes personnel records. Communicate personnel policies and employee benefits. Some assignments may include providing support in other areas under the instruction of the plant manager. Works under the direction of the Human Resource Director.
Facilitate recruitment activities. Test and screen applicants; conduct background checks and drug screening program. Maintain records relating to employment activities.
Process salary/personnel status changes, including salary adjustments, address and name changes, terminations. Ensure accurate, timely transmittal of information to proper departments.
Assist employees with benefit programs at the plant level. Explains benefit programs and instructs employees on how to enroll into programs.
Complete all necessary personnel forms; creates and maintains personnel files; transmits accurate and timely information to corporate Payroll and HR departments.
Administer employee programs (safety, attendance, service awards). Maintains records; orders awards and supplies. Carries out special activities and campaigns, community fund raising activities, employee parties, etc.
May assist with employee orientation and training covering a wide variety of topics
Provide general office support to other administrative areas as assigned (safety, office, production planning support).
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

What you'll need:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in office administration
Training in clerical/administration support with experience in office management, personnel administration or a related field and considerable experience administering personnel benefits programs and records; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Ability to maintain positive and effective working relationships with all levels of employees
Proficient in all MS Office applications, Kronos & PeopleSoft is a plus
Must have excellent time management skills
Knowledge of Human Resources
Good knowledge of general office procedures and personnel reporting, record processing and maintenance.
Ability to handle confidential personnel information discreetly and maintain accurate complete and current records.
