As a QA Automation Engineer for the Mezzanine team you will be working closely with developers and a small team of talented QA engineers in qualifying new features for our visual collaboration product. Our push to move from an on-prem solution to a cloud based solution means we need you to develop robust automation and test coverage around our new cloud based API.

Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside our cloud team to help design and develop automated testing solutions using modern tools and technologies
  • Contribute to our CI/CD automation suites to improve test coverage, speed of development, and overall reliability
  • Design and develop automated test infrastructure using Linux and tools like Gitlab-ci, Docker, virtual machines, etc
  • Develop and execute load tests to validate our new cloud based API’s and services
  • Develop and run UI tests for our Desktop and Web apps
  • Track automation pipelines, identify failures, and report them
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a role focused on test automation involving QA and product development
  • Must have a strong working familiarity with Linux and are very comfortable working in a command line interface
  • Must have experience working with SaaS application development and have a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure tools and technologies
  • Must have experience with API automation and UI testing
  • Must have experience with build and continuous integration and deployment tools like git, gitlab, docker, kubernetes
  • Must have expertise in writing automated tests using Ruby, Python, Bash, and or C/C++
Nice to have:
  • Basic understanding of API technologies like WebSockets, REST, and gRPC
  • Knowledge of video conference technologies like Cisco, Polycom, or Skype
  • Experience working in an agile environment
