Swim Instructor Responsibilities:
- Teach private swim lessons
- Assess students ability
- Work with students at their pace while consistently challenging them to progress further
- Transition trial lessons to new enrollments
- Being safety minded
- Maintain positive relationships
Swim instructor requirements are:
- Minimum 1 year experience teaching swim lessons
- Prior babysitting or nanny experience
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to swim properly
- Work with beginner level & pre-school age students
- Current Lifeguard Certification or willingness to become certified (Making Waves can certify you)
- Able to commit to our company for at least one year. No seasonal hires.
- Must possess good time management skills
- Must possess good communication skills
- Must possess strong organizational skills
- Must be able to have fun with their students!
