Job Overview: As a Warehouse Associate you will contribute in order fulfillment, shipping, and inventory management. Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure the quality and quantity of our products are processed and shipped according to our customer’s expectations and demands. Utilize equipment, tools, and various materials to facilitate efficiency in performing job functions in a physical, fast-paced warehouse environment.
Flexibility and willingness are key characteristics to demonstrate as you will be called upon to assist with other tasks, including Merchandising and/or assisting on press machines for stretches of many consecutive minutes at a time. Your physical capability to lift 50 lbs will be essential for accessing necessary supplies and preparing products for moving around our facility. Key Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment; prepare (Pick and Pack) customer’s orders on time and in full
- Utilize a handheld scanner to navigate through software-generated (WMS) job functions
- Confirm Pick Locations are stocked (Inventory Management) for efficient Picking and Packing of orders
- Communicate clearly within a team to ensure orders are fulfilled in accordance with customer’s requirements (Value Added Services)
- Assist in annual projects such as Physical Inventory, Active/Stock Keeping Changeover, and other various special projects directed by Operations Management
- Consistently meet company-established safety, productivity, quality, and employee standards (5S)
Qualifications:
- 1+ years experience in order fulfillment, shipping, and/or working within a physical, fast-paced warehouse environment is preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Software (WMS) and basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office is preferred, but not required
- Capability to follow directions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), read Work Instructions, and adhere to employee Policies and Procedures is required
- Ability to independently stand, walk, and/or lift 50 lb boxes for extended periods of time, and team lift materials over 50 lbs as needed is required
- Consistently meeting productivity goals while maintaining a positive attitude in a dynamic physical environment is required
- Demonstrate characteristics such as flexibility, punctuality, accuracy, preparedness, and honesty
- Overtime may be required
