Project Specialist - Customer Care

Provide support in project/request discovery and planning effort, including the formulation of projects, required delivery dates and tasks to be performed. Works directly with operations and agents to foster necessary actions to prepare and execute on required projects. For many initiatives, research and gather data to ensure projects are executed in a timely manner. Receive, prioritize and execute ad hoc requests using tools such as Microsoft Office. A successful Project Specialist will possess and demonstrate organizational and leadership skills, analytical ability, and strong follow-up and communication skills.

20% Project/request discovery and planning efforts.
20% Perform data gathering, validation and analytical tasks.
20% Manipulate/load data, prepare and distribute weekly and monthly reporting.
20% Receive, prioritize and execute ad hoc requests to produce documents for team and leadership to review and utilize.
20% Build skills and knowledge including self-development, team and internal customer knowledge
Typically reports to Sr. Manager/Director.
No direct responsibility for supervising others


Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 3 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and expertise with Microsoft Office suite of products including Access
Strong analytical skills
Prior project management experience is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Retail experience is preferred

Communication and interpersonal skills; ability to develop effective business relationships
PC skills, knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Sound analytical skills with attention to detail
Knowledge of project management concepts and processes
Ability to work independently with minimal direction and be able to handle multiple tasks at once
