Food 4 Kids Support Coordinator

Under supervision of the Supplemental Food Program Manager, the Food 4 Kids Support Coordinator is responsible for monitoring, training, and supporting the Food 4 Kids programs operated by the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.


School Based Programs

Conducts trainings for new School Based programs as they onboard
Assists the Food 4 Kids Manager with monitoring and review of current School Based programs
Works with Help Desk to troubleshoot issues that are not able to be solved by Help Desk
Performs onsite visits to existing School Based programs to evaluate effectiveness, assist in increasing participation, and support compliance with program standards and requirements
Works with school districts to educate district employees about the educational outcomes of enhanced food security
Works with Help Desk and Accounting to ensure ordering and budget issues are addressed with schools
Congregate Feeding Programs

Completes federally mandated monitoring of CACFP/SFSP sites in partnership with Food 4 Kids Manager
Completes monitoring follow up reports for CACFP sites and sends them to site coordinators
Schedules and completes required follow up visits for non-compliance uncovered in monitoring reports
Completes annual training for all CACFP/SFSP sites
Conducts trainings for all new CACFP sites
Schedules and completes required follow up visits for non-compliance uncovered in monitoring reports

Has working knowledge of all Food 4 Kids programs to provide back up and support to these programs when needed
Other duties as assigned.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Language Skills - Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from staff, partner agencies/schools, clients, donors, community organizations, and the general public. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Technical Ability - Ability to use common office applications and database software. Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel.
Personal Skills – Must be a self-starter who is driven and capable of keeping track of multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Must be highly organized with an ability to pay attention to detail; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships; strategic, creative, progressive thinker.

Additional Job Requirements:
Clearance of background investigation, drug screen and physical examination.
Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.
